Yes, I guess I am a writer...

Stopped by the Post Office to mail some packages today, and the gentleman asked us if we wanted stamps...I said we'd just gotten a big roll, and my husband pointed out that I use a lot on manuscripts.

The gentleman said "You're a writer?"

I paused. It's one thing to say that I write, but something else to hear another person call me "a writer." "Yes, I guess so."

"Do you have a book out?"

And the next thing I knew I was writing down Title, Author, Publisher...and HE was thanking ME. I wonder if he'll stop by the Carpe Libris website...

Wow. Somebody I don't know wanted to know about my writing. Wow.

Be my guest! ;) I'd love to see it. I've tried a couple of times, but i'm out of practice and it never quite "clicked." (Plua I tried to do it on the computer, so I could share it, and I'm better with real pencil or pastels.)

I'd need a clear description of his colors (hair and scales). How long is his hair, is it wavy or curly at all?
