Goblin Quest review
Dec. 18th, 2006 08:00 pmI really don’t know how to write a book review, but I liked Goblin Quest (by Jim Hines) so much that I’ll give it a try! ;) Plus there's a contest:

I read the book in one day. Couldn’t stop. I expected a few laughs and gaming jokes...a nice light read. Besides, I’ve always had a soft spot for the little guy, and “monsters” that really aren’t. It sounded like fun.
There were laughs and gaming jokes, sure. I cracked up a few times. But it was also a seriously good book. I LIKE Jig. I like Smudge and Riana and Shadowstar and all. I cared, and I couldn’t just wander off and pick them up later. I wanted to know what happened next. I still want to know. The next book can’t come out soon enough.
I read as a writer, and learned a few things. I read as a reader, and had a wonderful time.
Read this book whatever way you like, but by all means, read it!
