Vanished idea

Last night I had an idea of how to straighten out my Demon Prologue. It resolved a whole slew of problems-and now I can't remember it!

OTOH, the Giant Novel revisions are going well, and I subbed 4 stories today. All in all, a good writing day.

I have dreams where I write whole chapters of brilliant work only to wake up and not remember a single thing I wrote in my sleep. :( Hopefully your ideas will come back to you.

I remembered the gist of it. I didn't recapture that "Aha, this is how all the pieces fit together!" moment, but I've got something to work with again.
