I've cut thousands of words out of "The Giant Novel" in the past few days, but it's not even close to 125,000. :sigh:

I also just got an acceptance to the Black Box horror anthology. This is funny. I only wrote my first horror story on a dare because I claimed I couldn't write horror at all, and I can't watch horror movies-but my horror sells better than most of my other stuff! How odd.

I got "Grant's Book" down to 135,000, but I think that's as far as I can go. I don't know whether to sub it anyway, find some way to ask if it's acceptable (there's no clear address for questions) or forget the whole thing. :sigh:
(For that publisher. I'm not giving up on the book!)
