I never did. Besides, I'm married to him. ;) And if you ask my Dad, he'll tell you that he believes in Santa too. When I was 8 or 9 he initiated me into the secret. He told me that Santa is a spirit that lives in all of us, and when we think of other people more than ourselves and go out of our way to bring joy to people, we are Santa.

That is the best answer I've heard...I read a similar explanation in a book once, and it really hit home for me! I plan to let my daughter in on the secret when she gets to that age, too ;)
