Random Odd Thought

Why do all 3 of my book-length projects have a reference to a humanoid character eating mice?

From "Between Worlds" (Double Dragon):“Who ordered the mice?” sang out Juliar from the hallway.

From "The Measure of a Man" (Working title, not sold yet):"Did you want this?" he whispered. "I'm sorry, but you eat mice and I don't. Not yet, anyway."

From "The Demonspawn Chronicles" (still in progress): "My enemy knows I can’t eat this.” He held up a chunk of dry bread, wrinkling his nose in disgust. “But little warm-bloods do, and I can eat them!”
“Mice?” said Julia, and Malak nodded.

I have a weird brain...

Maybe you're just hungry.

Mice are nice.

No, but my characters typically are, for some reason.

That's the kind of topic that entire dissertations will be written about someday.

Okay, well, maybe undergrad junior papers (mice are small), but still. *g*

That's one way to sell the books! ;)

I have a dog eating reference in DD....

"What does it taste like?"
"It tastes like dog, Mr. Lie."
(This is Elizabeth, the taciturn bodyguard)

Well, you are excessive....

That's OBsessive...

You were a cat in a previous life?

I do like cats...
(No, NOT for lunch! ;))
