When neighborly concern goes too far.
Aug. 3rd, 2008 03:58 pmI've been on vacation this week. Today the doorbell rang, and "Tech Support" answered the door to find our elderly neighbor from the end of the street on the porch, looking concerned. She'd noticed that my car had been in the driveway during the day all week.
She wanted to know if I was dead.
Ok, I'm a bit of a homebody. Ok, I don't socialize a lot. But that's just a bit much. ;)
(To be fair, I did have to go to the hospital by ambulance a few weeks ago, and I assume she'd heard about that. But I still think she's jumping the gun just a wee bit. ;))
