I got my AnthologyBuilder book today, and I like it. It's well put together. I used this cover: http://www.anthologybuilder.com/cover_demo.php?cover_id=306. It looks nice. So far all the stories I've read have been well-written and interesting and/or fun. I think only taking reprints is a good idea. It assures a certain degree of quality, and makes this more than a print-your-own novelty outfit. I really hope it takes off.

Ever since I heard about the Catscurious Faerie Taile Contest I've been trying to write something for it. At first I thought I'd end up with several entries. After all, I love to rewrite fairy tales!

It turned out to be harder than it looked. 5,000+ words is not a natural length for me. The last stories I wrote in that range morphed into the "Demon Novel." So I had the makings of 3 2k-4k stories, but no contest entry.

Now, at last, I have a complete ~8,000 word rough draft! Who knows-if I'm lucky it might even be funny. ;)
