Contradiction resolved! (It's not the holy water that condemns a demon's soul; it's the blessing that comes afterward.) Whew! Now I can move on with this convoluted, frustrating, FUN tangle of a project! I may even have worked around the POV/flashback choice.

Albacon was great! I wish you could've come too. I keep feeling like I ought to be on a panel somewhere...

Cold's almost gone. Thanks. Now I have to deal with losing yet another filling. :sigh:

It even looks like I'll be able to use a variation on the "egg scene!" ;D
