You know how authors have dream markets, the ones you picture seeing your story in when the story gets stuck, the ones where you ged another rejection, say "well, but someday...!" and go off to write a better story for Someday?
I'd had hopes there too. But the first thing I'd do, when I finished a first draft of a fantasy story and really liked it, was to imagine one of those great illustrations...
Honestly, Melissa, I know how much you loved that magazine and wanted to get something in there. And I know how active you were in the RoF forums and community. Really sorry for you on this one.
