Cover letters...!
Sep. 15th, 2006 10:24 pmDon't mind me. I just stopped by to bang my head against the walls of my topic for a bit.
Writing a book is challenging, but fun.
Writing a synopsis is frustrating, but doable.
But writing the cover letter scares the dayights out of me!
I think it's my brain telling me "Ok, kid. This is it. You're done pruning, tweaking and polishing. The book is DONE. And you're gonna pack it in a box and send it off into the Big Wide World.
And it's 99.999999% likely that it's going to get rejected.
And you know it.
And you wrote the thing anyway.
So stop stalling and just SEND IT!
Eep. Sigh. Here we go again!
