I'm gonna be crass, in a good way
Don't flippin' overworry about "writing the other."
Write what you want, how you want, to tell the story you want to tell.
Shakespeare was never a Queen, King, Moor, Gentleman of Verona, or Jewish Banker, let alone a Wizard or a Scottish Ghost. He did okay.
Go ahead. Write.
